1. Who we are

BoardroomIQ ("we", "us", "our") operates boardroomiq-ai.com, an AI-powered case interview preparation platform for MBA students and consulting recruits. For privacy questions, contact us at hello@boardroomiq-ai.com.

2. Data we collect

  • Account data: Email address and password when you create an account. If you sign in with Google or another OAuth provider, we receive your email and profile name from that provider.
  • Usage data: Pages visited, cases attempted, session scores, skill map progress, and feature interactions. This is used to power your progress tracking and improve the platform.
  • Payment data: Subscription plan and billing status. Payment card details are processed directly by Stripe (US/international) or Razorpay (India) — we never store raw card numbers.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, and country (used for geo-based pricing and analytics). Collected automatically on every visit.

3. How we use your data

  • Provide and personalise the BoardroomIQ service
  • Process subscription payments and send transactional emails (receipts, account confirmations)
  • Improve the platform through aggregate usage analytics (via Vercel Analytics and Microsoft Clarity)
  • Respond to support requests

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not send marketing emails without your consent.

4. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

  • Supabase — database and authentication (stores account data, session history, progress)
  • Stripe — payment processing for USD subscriptions
  • Razorpay — payment processing for INR subscriptions (India)
  • Vercel — hosting and edge infrastructure (processes request IP and headers)
  • Anthropic— AI model provider for case coaching and arena features (receives session content; subject to Anthropic's privacy policy)
  • Microsoft Clarity — anonymised session replay and heatmaps for UX improvement

5. Data retention

We retain account and usage data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and data at any time by emailing hello@boardroomiq-ai.com. Session exports are available to Pro subscribers at any time from your profile.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. If you are in the EU or UK, you have additional rights under GDPR/UK GDPR including the right to data portability and the right to object to processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@boardroomiq-ai.com.

7. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication (session tokens) and optional analytics cookies (Vercel Analytics, Microsoft Clarity). You can disable analytics cookies in your browser settings. We do not use advertising cookies.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to registered users or by a notice on the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
