Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using BoardroomIQ ("the Service", "the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and subscribers.

2. The Service

BoardroomIQ provides AI-powered case interview preparation tools including case studies, structured learning curriculum, mock interview practice, and case prep tools. The Service is intended for educational and self-study purposes only.

All cases on BoardroomIQ are fictional reconstructions of real business situations created for educational discussion. They are not investment advice, financial recommendations, or statements of fact about any company. Past decisions described in cases do not guarantee future outcomes.

3. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• One account per person. Sharing accounts or credentials with others is not permitted.
• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

4. Subscriptions and billing

• Free tier: Access to 5 cases, Coach and Arena modes, basic skill map, and 1 custom case per month at no charge.
• Paid tiers (Student, Pro): Billed monthly or annually. Prices are shown on the pricing page in your local currency. Founding member pricing is available for a limited time.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds for unused time.
• Payment processing: Payments are processed by Stripe (USD) or Razorpay (INR). We do not store payment card details.
• Data export: Session exports are available to Pro subscribers at any time, including after cancellation.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any commercial purpose without prior written consent (e.g., reselling access, building competing products from our content)
• Scrape, reproduce, or redistribute BoardroomIQ content without attribution
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or circumvent platform rate limits or access controls
• Use the AI features to generate content intended to deceive, mislead, or harm others
• Share account credentials or circumvent subscription gates

6. Intellectual property

All content on BoardroomIQ, including case studies, curriculum materials, tool outputs, and written guides, is the intellectual property of BoardroomIQ. You may use content for personal study purposes. You may not reproduce, publish, or distribute it commercially without written permission.

7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. BoardroomIQ does not guarantee that use of the platform will result in a job offer, interview success, or any specific outcome. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Changes and termination

We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by email or platform notice. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
